Canaries begins the week with predominantly cloudy skies in the north of the mountainous islands, where weak and occasional rain may occur, especially in the midlands during the early and late hours of Monday.
In the rest of the archipelago, a mostly clear or partly cloudy atmosphere is expected, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
At sea, the wind will blow from the northeast at force 4 to 6, weaker along the northeast coast, and moderate to strong swells are anticipated, with a northeast swell of around 1 metre.
Slight thermal increases
Temperatures will remain largely unchanged, although a slight rise in maximums is expected, particularly in inland areas. Notable temperatures include 29 ºC in Lanzarote and Tenerife, where heat will become more pronounced in the afternoon.
The wind will be the usual moderate trade wind, with strong gusts on the southeast and northwest slopes of the mountainous islands.

Cloudy in the north, with weak rain in the northeast midlands. Clearer in the summits and south. Temperatures: 22 ºC min. / 29 ºC max.
La Gomera
Cloudy in the north with occasional rain. Clear in the rest. Temperatures: 22 ºC min. / 28 ºC max.
La Palma
Weak rain in the northeast midlands. Clear in the summits. Temperatures: 21 ºC min. / 26 ºC max.
El Hierro
Cloudy in the north with possible rain. Brighter skies in the afternoon. Temperatures: 16 ºC min. / 24 ºC max.
