On Wednesday, February 26, at 9:30 p.m. (an additional hour for the rest of Spain), the fairgrounds in Santa Cruz de Tenerife will host the gala for the selection of the Queen of the Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife 2025. This event, designed by Jep Meléndez, will mark his second consecutive year directing the show. The stage, crafted by Nareme Melián, reflects the theme selected for this year’s festivities, focusing on the secrets of Africa.
As if stepping onto a fashion runway, eleven contestants representing various commercial enterprises will showcase their charm as they compete for the title of the Canarian Carnival queen. This main event of the Tenerife Carnival programme will be streamed live on Canarian television and broadcast nationwide on Spanish television 2, as well as on an international channel. Here, we will share the spectacle of splendid costumes—genuine masterpieces in motion that have been meticulously created in Tenerife throughout the year in preparation for the carnival.
