SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 14 December (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Civil Guard from the Candelaria Investigation Area (Tenerife) have apprehended an individual accused of committing eight offences, including theft and vehicle larceny, three of which were attempted, alongside another charge for the unlawful occupation of a residence, as he focused on stealing parked motorcycles to vandalise them and subsequently abandon them.
In a statement, the Benemérita elaborated that the criminal activities adhered to a consistent modus operandi and occurred within similar time frames, as the accused pilfered several motorcycles which he later discarded in various locations with significant damage, leading to social unrest in the municipality.
The officers then implemented suitable surveillance measures and other necessary actions, successfully identifying, locating, and detaining the suspected perpetrator, while accumulating the evidence required to elucidate the cases.
Moreover, this individual has been linked to the alleged unlawful occupation of a residence in the town of Candelaria, from which he carried out the numerous criminal activities.
It comes to light that this person had been apprehended last month for committing a crime, specifically a burglary with force inside a residence and theft from a vehicle, also within the municipality of Candelaria.
Ultimately, the detainee, alongside the conducted proceedings, has been referred to the Güímar Guard Court of Investigation.
