The Cabildo de Tenerife informs that the sanitation improvement works in the nuclei of La Esperanza and Llano del Moro begin this Friday with a total investment of 1,090,289 euros in this first phase, in which the corporation contributes 90 percent. percent of the cost of the works and the El Rosario City Council, 10 percent, with a term of execution of the works of eleven months.
This was indicated by the insular president, Pedro Martín, who explained that “the works in this first phase will include a section of just over two kilometers, from La Esperanza to the Llano del Moro area, to continue later with a second intervention, also from the TF-272 towards the Las Lagunetas junction”.
In his opinion, “it is a very important and indispensable work for sanitation in the municipality.”
Together with the mayor, Escolástico Gil, Pedro Martín visited the work area, which will begin immediately, and stressed that “a second phase will be added to this action, which will increase investment in El Rosario to more than 2.8 million euros, which will revert to a considerable improvement in the entire population group and disseminated that exists in this part of the municipality”.
Escolástico Gil, explained, for his part, that “the work had always been done in El Rosario in the upper part of La Esperanza, from the TF-24 upwards, and now they are going to work in the lower part and this work, together with the one that is already being developed in Lomo Pelado, with an investment of 3.5 million euros, will mean a great step in sanitation in the population centers of this part of the municipality”.
The municipal councilor added that “the second phase of the project will allow us to continue with this improvement work, which, without a doubt, will mean a great advance in terms of sanitation.”
The Minister of Municipal Cooperation and Housing, Zebenzuí Chinea, clarified, for his part, that the projected works are divided into two phases of execution.
“This first stage of the work is included in the 2018-2021 Municipal Cooperation Island Plan, and consists of including the collector of the sanitation network along the section of the TF-272 island highway and on Salto del Pine,” he said.
It will also include “a tertiary network with home connection boxes for the houses of the adjoining urban centers,” he explained.
Along these lines, he said that “sanitation is one of the areas in which the greatest effort is being made from the area in the Cabildo to collaborate with the municipalities in improving these priority services for the population”, at the same time that he announced that the The second phase of the project is already contemplated in the Municipal Cooperation Plan 2022-2025.
The purpose is to enrich this action with the main drainage collector along the side of the TF-272 up to the junction with the Las Lagunetas road, to connect the water to the network associated with the EBAR of Lomo Pelado-Las Rosas, collects a council note.
