SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE December 12 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A total of 137 immigrants reached the island of El Hierro late on Wednesday via two vessels, as stated by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre of 112 in the Canary Islands and the Red Cross.
The boats were discovered in waters adjacent to El Hierro, making their way to the La Restinga dock in El Pinar late at night.
Subsequently, the health team in the region, composed of personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), Primary Care and the Red Cross, provided assistance to the 137 migrants at the La Restinga dock, all of whom were generally in good health.
