SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 9th August (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 16-year-old lad was rescued on Friday by lifeguards from the pool area on the coastline of Garachico (Tenerife) after experiencing incomplete drowning, according to information provided by the Canary Islands 112 Emergency and Security Coordination Centre.
The incident took place at 2:47 p.m. in the vicinity, where personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) were dispatched and verified that the youngster was displaying signs of moderate incomplete drowning, with no complications, and was subsequently taken by ambulance to the Hospital del Norte.
Local Police officers also responded at the accident site, supported emergency services, and prepared the necessary reports.
