The Canarian authorities have reported that a total of 25 complaints were made last Sunday regarding unlawful camping in a protected area in the southern region of Tenerife.
The incident took place recently when law enforcement officials visited the protected natural area of Montaña Pelada, situated in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona.
During the operation, 25 complaints were registered against individuals engaged in unauthorised camping, setting fires, and creating various types of waste.
In addition to this, it was highlighted by the authorities that two motorcyclists were also reported on the same day for driving in areas where it was prohibited.
