The technical director has indicated that the volcanic emergency continues, with the main language settled in the area of the highway from Los Llanos to Puerto Naos, in the town of Todoque, where it has penetrated and has begun to cause “serious damage.”
Given the low speed of the laundry, Miguel Ángel Marcuende has indicated that the residents of Todoque will be allowed to access their homes to be able to remove belongings, documentation and perishable goods, thus avoiding health problems derived from them.
This withdrawal will be made between 08.00 and 21.00 hours and will be carried out in a selective manner and controlled by the authorities, since “an emergency is not an exact science and the laundry does not have a uniform speed, so it could vary in any moment”.
