SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 17th Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Four Swiss visitors who had stayed overnight in La Granja Park were asked to leave by the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Local Police, as reported by the municipal police’s communications department.
The incident took place early this morning, with the officers compiling the necessary infraction reports. The tourists who were asked to leave also retrieved their belongings that they had left at the location.
Additionally, authorities noticed the removal of beacons, fences, and signs prohibiting access to Benijo beach due to the risk of landslides on the slope once again today.
Furthermore, there were several individuals found on the beach with makeshift shelters set up, prompting the Natural Environment Unit of the Santa Cruz City Council and the Local Police to be notified, resulting in the evacuation of approximately 20 people.
