The team Victoria Canteras, one of the two squads sent by the port entity to La Palma for the Regional domino tournament, was crowned champion of group B. In this competition, 24 teams participated, eight from the host island, another eight from Tenerife, and the same number from Gran Canaria, with four in each of the two groups.
The Breña Alta sports hall hosted this regional event over the weekend with the supposedly best teams in the archipelago. The mayor of the Palmero municipality, Jonathan Felipe, along with his Sports councillor, Nuria Rodríguez, and the councillor from the same area, Yurguen Hernandez, were in charge of presenting the various trophies, each featuring a rendition of the beautiful island in methacrylate.
