SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 21 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The National Police, with the collaboration of the Local Police of La Laguna (Tenerife), has arrested the alleged perpetrator of the attack with a knife that took place in the early hours of this Saturday in the Víctor Zurita Soler square.
According to the City Council, the alleged aggressor fled the scene in the presence of the police and hid inside a nearby building, where he was arrested, while the proceedings remain open.
For its part, the City Council recalled that the Local Police and the National Police have been implementing a joint security device on weekends since September in the nightlife area of the Quadrilateral area and other parts of the municipality.
As for the victim, he was a 24-year-old man who suffered a moderate stab wound to the chest, for which he was stabilized and transferred in a medicalized ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands. .
