The Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council’s Municipal Operational Coordination Center (Cecopal) has posted on its official social media profile that currently, on Fridays, there are restrictions on vehicle access to the parking area at Seagulls Beach.
Cecopal mentions, “Due to the high number of vehicles occupying the parking space at Seagulls Beach, access to it has been limited.”
Additionally, the capital City Council’s municipal website provides real-time updates on the status of beaches in the area.
Seagulls Beach Overview
Nestled just a short distance from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Seagulls Beach maintains its volcanic charm. Here, black sand meets lush greenery, creating a serene escape from the busy tourist hubs on the island.
While slightly off the beaten path from the city centre, reaching this beach by car is straightforward.
To reach Seagulls Beach from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, head towards San Andrés and then follow the signs for Igueste (TF-121).
If you opt for public transportation, a bus ride to Igueste followed by a short walk will get you to the beach.
