The Cabildo de Tenerife will improve the working conditions of the Parks and Road Workshops work centers, as reported by the councilor responsible for the area, Dámaso Arteaga, who has recently completed the round of visits to the three work centers that directly depend on and maintained by the Cabildo located in the municipalities of Los Realejos, Granadilla de Abona and La Laguna (La Cuesta), in the latter center accompanied by the insular president, Rosa Dávila.
During the visits, the proposals related to the improvement and the most urgent needs of the personnel who carry out this important service for the maintenance of the island’s roads were compared and noted. In this sense, Arteaga stressed the importance of knowing from workers’ demands first hand.
“One of the main axes of work and commitment for this mandate is to reinforce the workforce and undertake the works to improve the parks with the aim of making the road service more efficient and taking advantage of the important work that is carried out at the foot of road. It is the first line of conservation, maintenance, improvement and conditioning of the spaces near the road”, said the counselor, who appreciated the daily work of the crews to guarantee the safety of the users of the Tenerife roads.
