WHAT’S ON IN THE CANARY ISLANDS TODAY | Some troublemakers on their quad bike disrupt sunbathers in the Canary Islands

In a concerning incident, two men entered Troya Beach, situated in Las Américas, Arona, in the south of Tenerife, on a quad bike. They performed dangerous manoeuvres on the sand, causing a commotion among the many bathers who were enjoying a sunny day in this popular bathing area.

The two men, whose identity has not been disclosed, burst onto the beach with the quad bike, creating a dangerous situation by performing risky manoeuvres near the bathers. The individuals’ behaviour caused a mix of fear and confusion among those present, who were taken aback by the intrusion.

Intervention by the lifeguards

The lifeguards present on the beach tried to remove the intruders to ensure the safety of the bathers. Despite their efforts, the two men continued with their reckless actions. The quad bike remained stranded in the sand for about 15 minutes, increasing tension at the site.

Eventually, the men managed to free the quad bike and fled at high speed before the arrival of the Local Police, who had been alerted by the lifeguards and the bathers. The rapid escape prevented the authorities from apprehending them at that moment.
