Latest Update on Sánchez’s Correspondence

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 24th April – EUROPA PRESS –

Expressing their solidarity, PSOE Canary Islands has openly supported Secretary General and Government President, Pedro Sánchez, in light of “the relentless and dehumanising smear campaign being perpetrated by an unrestrained right-wing.”

“They did it to Felipe González, they attempted it with José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, and now they’re at it again with Pedro Sánchez. They are willing to destabilise the state in their quest to eliminate a political opponent. There are limits. What they can’t achieve through democratic means, they seek to accomplish through deceit,” stated PSOE Canary Islands in a press release.

The Canarian socialists stress that Spain is under the leadership of a democratic president. “Now more than ever, we are governed by someone who rightfully represents us all. Conviction and integrity are vital. We are committed to our progressive agenda and to serving the majority,” they further added.
