A longboat carrying 93 migrants of sub-Saharan origin on board was intercepted on Tuesday, 16th April, eight nautical miles southwest of Punta de Rasca, in Tenerife, after being spotted by a fishing vessel, as reported by sources from Maritime Safety to Europa Press.
As the boat was sailing under its own power, it was escorted safely by Salvamar Alpheratz to the port of Los Cristianos, where its occupants disembarked shortly before 11:00 am.
