He Tenerife Council yesterday commemorated the 30 years of Sinpromi, with a gala that was attended by regional and island authorities. The Auditorium of Tenerife hosted this celebration, which was also an act of recognition and tribute to all professionals and entities, companies, associations and people who have worked, since 1993, with the aim of promoting the social and labor integration of people with disabilities. from Tenerife.
Throughout these 30 years, Sinpromi has developed programs aimed at employment, training, universal accessibility, social technological innovation, access to art and culture, as well as the enjoyment of leisure. The growth of this company is reflected in the increase in staff, which began with 20 workers in 1993 and currently reaches 196 people, 51% of them with disabilities.
The event was attended by the president of the Tenerife Cabildo, Rosa Davilaand the Minister of Social Action, Águeda Fumero, who took the stage to present the new Sinpromi logo, which will represent the Society from now on, and which “will accompany us in the objective of continuing to be pioneers in inclusion , participation and equal opportunities.
The Minister of Social Action assured that “Sinpromi will be, looking to the future, a vital tool for achieving the necessary revolution in social management, a mandatory step to improve care for people, adapting to new challenges and challenges that social development poses to us.
