SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 16 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The weather conditions during the night of this Sunday and early morning of this Monday have been favorable to the forest fire that affects the island of Tenerife, since the temperature has been around 17ºC and without wind in the area, as reported by the Government from the Canary Islands.
This has allowed the night to pass “normally, without reactivations” in the forest fire, in which an extinction operation made up of about 90 personnel has worked, including personnel from BRIFOR of the Cabildo of Tenerife, EIRIF of the Government of the Canary Islands, Military Unit of Emergencies and Firefighters of the Tenerife Consortium.
Around 10:00 a.m. this Monday, a new INFOCA technical coordination meeting is scheduled to take place to analyze the evolution of the fire during the night and the measures to be taken during the day.
