Today’s latest news about the La Palma volcano

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct 29 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Canarian actress Toni Acosta has mobilized her colleagues from the production company El Terrat (The Mediapro Studio) and Andreu Buenafuente to help the palm trees and palm trees, 40 days after the Cumbre Vieja volcano erupted.

The objective is to donate 100% of the profits collected from the sale of a T-shirt to the Red Cross until the end of the campaign, in February 2022. To give more visibility to the action, a campaign is launched in Social Networks under the name, MY HEART IN THE PALM AND YOURS? With the hashtag #CortefielXLaPalma

Based on the desire of the Canarian actress to help the inhabitants of La Palma, the comedian and presenter Andreu Buenafuente has designed an illustration that will be reflected in two models of solidarity t-shirts that Cortefiel puts on the Spanish market, facilitating their sale in more than 100 stores that exist throughout Spain and through its website. The t-shirts are produced in 100% organic cotton, they are unisex and two models are marketed, black and white with a sale price of 20 euros.

Toni Acosta explains that X LA PALMA is a project born from the desire of his Canarian heart to help his neighbors on the Isla Bonita. “This project is possible thanks to my colleagues from El Terrat, to the Cortefiel team that supports this initiative, but above all to Andreu Buenafuente, capable of expressing strength, generosity and love in his drawing. Thank you for contributing your grain of arena with the purchase of this shirt, “he highlighted.

In the case of Andreu Buenafuente, he said that when Toni verbalized the need to organize an action to help La Palma, he did not hesitate for a moment to support her and join in: “Drawing is one of my passions and putting it at the service of solidarity is always a Yes. This heart X LA PALMA is the most direct and human expression of support for all the palm trees and palm trees that are suffering. Thanks to Toni for the initiative, to Cortefiel for making it a reality and to the Red Cross for joining “.

The initiative encourages buyers to share on social networks the palm of their hand painted with a heart, symbolizing their commitment to the island, to mobilize the greatest number of people and for a simple gesture to become viral to help the project to be a success.

Marié Castelvi, general director of Cortefiel, Pedro del Hierro, SlowLove and Hoss Intropia, has stated that since the beginning of the volcano eruption “the entire company has supported La Palma with a donation of new garments to the Los Llanos de Aridane City Council. and La Palma Red Cross “. He added that when Toni Acosta got in touch with them they did not think so: “We had to continue collaborating with La Palma and we decided to contribute our knowledge in textile production and our distribution capacity by putting up for sale the shirt designed by Andreu Buenafuente on the website of Cortefiel and in the network of stores throughout Spain. In less than a month we have achieved among all those involved that this solidarity shirt X La Palma is manufactured and available for sale “.
