The operation to extinguish the Tenerife fire has had a relatively calm night, with no major reproductions except for some small ones within the burned area.
The device has been made up of 41 members of the forestry brigades of the Tenerife Cabildo, the Military Emergency Unit (UME) and the Consortium’s Firefighters, who have concentrated their activity in the areas of Aguamansa, Santa Úrsula and mainly in Ravelo.
This Sunday, six aerial means of extinction will intervene to support the work of the ground teams.
He Tenerife fire which began on August 15 and was considered controlled, remains active and with continuous reproductions since October 9 mainly on the north side of the island, between the municipalities of La Orotava and El Rosario, as reported this Saturday by the Government of the Canary Islands.
