The Cabildo of Tenerife offers 19 free training courses during the month of September through the ‘Tenerife Young School’.
The courses will be developed in person, blended and online in the municipalities of Adeje, Arona, Arico, Buenavista del Norte, Candelaria, El Rosario, El Tanque, Granadilla, Puerto de la Cruz, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and San Juan de la Rambla and are aimed at young people between 16 and 35 years old.

The Youth Minister, Serafín Mesa, points out that “this is an opportunity for young people to continue training in subjects of different fields, the objective of these trainings is to qualify young people from all over the island to facilitate their access to the market. labor and provide them with the necessary tools to carry out their jobs.
In his opinion, “the offer is wide and any young person in Tenerife can access it.”
The courses have different themes such as forklift operator, school cafeteria monitor, permanence and camp monitor, comic and manga design, food handler and food allergies, training techniques and pet walking.
Training is also offered on personal and sports training, inventory and warehouse management, use of digital tools in the academic and work environment, and care for people with functional diversity.
The offer is completed with courses on artificial intelligence, intermediate Excel, emotional intelligence at work, introduction to Spanish sign language and health, nutrition and dietetics.
