A 50-year-old woman has been seriously injured after being run over by the tram on Trinidad Avenue, in the Tenerife municipality of La Laguna, as reported by the 1-1-2 emergency service.
The accident occurred on Friday afternoon and when the emergency services arrived the woman had serious injuries.
The injured person was taken in a medical ambulance to the Canary Islands University Hospital.
