This coming Sunday, August 13, moving the planetin collaboration with the Arona Town Hall, will lead a moving chaino. The Moving Chain is a solidarity collection of garbage through the streets, an event that has already been carried out successfully in other parts of Spain, such as Mallorca, Madrid, Barcelona, and throughout the island of Tenerife.
The event will take place between 9 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon of that day and the starting point will be the San Borondón Cafeteria, in Parque Santiago 3.
To the voluntary cleaning action Doña Fátima Lemes Reverón, mayoress of Arona, and the councilors for the environment and tourism will join of the municipality and actively collaborate in its realization La Tratto, Las Américas Surf Pro, Kontraola, Hara Sport Center, Jungle Move, and Crisol Endurance OCR.
A collective effort
This event is an opportunity to work hand in hand to achieve a cleaner island. We invite everyone to join this effort for a cleaner and more sustainable planet. Bring comfortable clothes and shoes, and, above all, a great desire to participate.
Moving the Planet will provide bags and gloves to easily pick up debris, as well as water to stay hydrated.
