The Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife reopens Avenida de La Salle and inspects the premises affected by the gas leak

Avenida de La Salle in Santa Cruz de Tenerife has been reopened to vehicle and pedestrian traffic while the security forces and Urban Planning technicians inspect the gas installations at the premises where a leak allegedly originated, forcing the road to be closed.

Local Police officers, firefighters, and Urban Planning and sanitation technicians are at the scene to carry out the inspection of the premises and its gas facilities, as specified by the local security body on its social networks.

Circulation on Avenida de La Salle was cut off due to a possible gas leak in a local restaurant in the area, where local police officers and firefighters went, as well as technicians from the Tenerife capital’s Urban Planning area.

Both the security forces and the technicians agreed to prohibit the passage of pedestrians and vehicles in the limited area, in the section of La Salle between the avenues of Tres de Mayo and San Sebastián.

Likewise, sources from the Emergency and Security Coordination Center 112 indicated that the firefighters were in charge of the ventilation work without registering any affected.
