The City Council of Buenavista del Norte has called for subsidies for the rehabilitation of homes, within the framework of the Insular Rehabilitation Program. Interested parties have a period of 20 business days to submit the corresponding application to the Consistory.
These aids, and as explained by the Consistory, are aimed at “addressing the situation of need in which family units of coexistence with scarce resources find themselves” to face the improvement works of their homes, provided that these constitute the domicile usual and permanent of the family unit.
Would be object of the grant works to improve accessibility and remove architectural barriers; those necessary to adapt the dwelling to the minimum habitability conditions; the reform or substitution to improve the health conditions; works that guarantee the security of the property, such as the reinforcement or partial replacement of structural elements; the actions that allow the adaptation to current regulations regarding water, gas, electricity or fire protection; the reform or replacement of obsolete or non-existent plumbing, sanitation, electricity or gas installations; and the repair of roofs and facades to eliminate humidity. All these performances will be accepted as long as they are considered minor works.
The total amount of the aid will be 39,210 euros per home. Applications must be submitted at the Town Hall Entry Register. This must be accompanied by various documents, such as cadastral data and bank statements of the last three months.
