The Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council asks citizens to take extreme precautions until the end of this alert and the pre-alert to avoid the risks and dangers that may arise from it, being aware of any changes that may occur through the Directorate General of Security and Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands.

In addition, as a recommendation in the face of high temperatures, the City Council advises staying in places protected from the sun for as long as possible, closing the house as much as possible to keep it as cool as possible. In addition, it is advisable to avoid practicing sports during the central hours of the day.
