Traffic at the Padre Anchieta roundabout in La Laguna is set to change once more starting next Monday, October 7, as preparations for the assembly of falsework and the fifth section of the pedestrian walkway get underway.
This operation will necessitate the closure of both lanes of the roundabout, meaning that access from the TF-5 to the TF-24 motorway (heading towards La Esperanza), Astrofísico Francisco Sánchez street, and Avenida de La Trinidad will be restricted during the night from Monday to Thursday, October 10, between 8:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m..
As a result of these closures, alternative routes will be set up: access from the TF-5 to the TF-24 and Astrofísico Francisco Sánchez street via Lora and Tamayo – Mayber street – Camino San Miguel de Geneto – Domingo González Pérez street – TF-265 or El Coromoto.
The Cabildo of Tenerife urges motorists to exercise heightened caution when travelling through the area during the construction work and to heed the signage and the instructions provided by the Roads area staff.
