A man seriously injured after being run over on the TF-5

A man has been seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle on the TF-5 on the afternoon of this Tuesday. The event occurred around 1:35 p.m. in a northerly direction, near the municipality of El Sauzal, causing significant traffic jams at that point on the highway.

The affected person suffered multiple injuries of a serious nature, for which he was transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University Hospital.

The 1-1-2 Canarias immediately activated the necessary emergency resources in the area: personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service to care for the affected person, Civil Guard agents to regulate traffic in the area and instruct the corresponding procedures and personal of the Insular Highway Center to proceed with the cleaning of the road.
