The town of El Retamar will imminently celebrate its Festivities in Honor of the Virgen del Rocío and San Lorenzo Mártir 2023, which will take place on June 3 and 4, with various liturgical acts and recreational activities for the enjoyment from their neighbors.
So, on Saturday June 3, at 11:00 a.m., the little ones will be able to enjoy a Playground and Children’s Festival, although it will be at 9:00 p.m. when the Holy Mass in honor of the Virgen del Rocío and San Lorenzo Mártir takes place, which will be officiated by the Párroco D. Víctor Manuel Fernández Suárez to, later, begin the Procession along the usual route, which on this occasion will be accompanied by the authorities, faithful present and the Music Band of Santiago del Teide. Also, during the tour there will be a fireworks display by the Hermanos Toste Pyrotechnics and, at the end, those gathered there will be able to enjoy a festival by the LatinSound group.
As for Sunday June 4, it will be at 1:30 p.m. when the arrival of the walkers of the Ruta de los Pueblos with an offering to the Virgen del Rocío takes place; highlighting that, then, you can enjoy a paella for all attendees.
