The Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, which remembers that Gerard Butler is staying in the capital of Tenerife these days, has held a meeting to coordinate the needs of those responsible for the filming and the different municipal areas that collaborate with it.

Those responsible for the production company are distributing information regarding schedules and traffic disturbances to residents and merchants in the areas where the filming will take place, as indicated by the City Council in a statement.

In this regard, he specified that some of the establishments located in these areas will be used as the setting for the feature film and two telephone numbers will be provided to answer any questions that may arise during the film.

Thus, on Monday the filming will move to the Círculo de Amistad area, specifically to the streets of Santa Rosaría and Santa Rosa de Lima, where it will be filmed between 09:00 and 19:00.

For this reason there will be traffic cuts between 06:00 and 20:00, always in coordination with residents and minimizing as far as possible the inconvenience that may be caused.

On Tuesday, the filming will be moved to the area of ​​the La Concepción church square and Santo Domingo street and, in addition to outdoors, it will take place inside an establishment in the area, between 12:00 and 00:00: 00 hours of said day.

Likewise, a prior communication is being made to neighbors and merchants to inform them of the traffic cuts, of people and vehicles, that may be necessary, intermittently, due to the filming.

Finally, between May 8 and 22, there will be cuts for vehicle and pedestrian traffic, of different durations, in Imeldo Serís and Castillo streets.

In all of them, the possible entrance or exit of vehicles from the garages during filming will be coordinated but, unlike other locations, this part of the filming requires the placement of props on public roads that, in no case, will interrupt in any way complete the road or the accesses to the garages.

As in the previous locations, the production company informs the residents and merchants of changes in traffic, both for people and vehicles, making two telephone numbers available to resolve problems or respond to any incident or need that may arise during these dates.

In this case, the filming will also take place at night, so the effect regarding noise generated will be minimized. By way of example, electric cars are used in filming in which a vehicle is involved, the City Council specifies.
