The General Directorate of Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands has decreed the end of the evacuation of more nuclei that remained evicted by the fire of Tenerife in El Sauzal, Tacoronte, Santa Úrsula and La Orotava.
The only exceptions are the part of Las Lagunetas that belongs to El Sauzal and Izañawho are still evacuated.
Rest, From now on, the relocation of the streets that remained evacuated in the mentioned municipality is allowed.s, including the Parador del Teide.
Before this new order 75% of the 12,000 people who were evicted by the fire had been able to return to their homes.
The government of Canary Islands recommends that only those residing in them, as well as workers and means of extinction, access the relocated areas, to avoid crowds that could hinder their work.
In addition, it limits the mobility of vehicles to what is “strictly necessary”, and warns of possible traffic disturbances, such as traffic changes on some roads, so please exercise extreme caution.
