SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 2 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Ministry of Ecological Transition, Fight against Climate Change and Territorial Planning of the Government of the Canary Islands maintains open a call for subsidies for the implementation of thermal renewable energy facilities in different sectors of the economy of the islands.
It is an incentive program endowed with 4,396,679.23 euros and framed within the funds of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan whose call was opened last October and which will remain in force until the end of this year.
The regional councilor responsible for the Area, José Antonio Valbuena, explained that during these months “various grants have been granted from this call but there is still credit available and enough time that can be used by the self-employed, SMEs, large companies and even their own public administrations”.
Specifically, these subsidies are divided into two programs. In this way, public or private entities that carry out some type of economic activity for which they offer goods or services in the market, whether natural or legal persons, administrations, groups, associations, consortiums, etc.
For its part, the ‘Incentive Program 2’ is aimed at subjects who, contrary to the previous programme, do not carry out an economic activity for which they offer goods or services on the market. In this case, they are local entities (councils or town halls), institutional public sector entities of any administration, private law entities, NGOs, etc.
Among the eligible actions is the installation or renovation of thermal infrastructures with renewable energies for the production of cold or heat in buildings, solar thermal installations or low, medium and high temperature applications in production processes (sterilization, cleaning, thermal baths for treatment surfaces, pasteurization, vehicle washing, air conditioning of industrial buildings, livestock and greenhouses, etc.).
The term for resolution of the call is six months and the submission of applications must be made, before December 31, 2023, through the electronic office: https://sede.gobiernodecanarias.org/sede/procedimientos_serv….
