The new Princess Inspire Tenerife, after a comprehensive renovation, with an investment of more than 15 million euros, officially celebrated its new hotel concept last night, in an act that served as a tribute – the Eurovisual singer Soraya sang along with the presenter Roberto Herrera, A mi manera- to the founder of the chain, José Cabrera Blanch, who in the 60s became an innovator in tourism in Salou (Tarragona) and later in the 80s expanded his career throughout the Canary Islands, with a dozen hotels, and America.

Tribute paid last night to the man who started out as a waiter at the Savoy in London and knew how to create a quality tourism emporium with more than 20,000 rooms and 7,000 jobs in the Canary Islands, according to the general director of Princess Hotels, Daniel Salá, and the director of Princess Inspire Tenerife, the tanker Plácido González, who agreed to define the company as “one big family”.

Last night the official reopening of the hotel was celebrated. Fran Pallero

The mayor of Adeje, José Miguel Rodríguez Fraga, congratulated the hotel managers and stated that “we must admire the grandeur of the hotel that does not overwhelm, but welcomes. It is a privilege to inaugurate this hotel twice, not because it is very old, but for renovating it so soon”.

Princess Hotels & Resorts, founded by José Cabrera Blanch (died April 10, 2021) and father of the current CEO, Robert Cabrera Plana, has always opted for the Islands, today it has 12 hotels in the Canary Islands, for the love and admiration for this land. More than 23 years ago, on November 7, 1999, the Hotel Bahía Princess was inaugurated as a 4-star family hotel. Since its opening, the acceptance of visitors has been overwhelming, securing a share of repeat guests of more than 46%. It has been a symbol of Costa Adeje, a school hotel for hundreds of employees who have worked in its facilities, a benchmark for many of the tour operators and yearned for by thousands of tourists.

The building stands out for its imposing Greco-Roman style architecture, with large white columns and its central dome, which give it a very special charm. After an investment of more than 15 million euros in renovating the hotel, it reopened its doors on November 11, 2022 with a new name and new services.

Now, the new Princess Inspire Tenerife shines after almost seven months of renovations with an innovative concept. An urban hotel, in a tourist area like no other, such as Costa Adeje.

A spectacular place to offer visitors new experiences and emotions. Undoubtedly, Princess Hotels is committed and will continue to bet on innovation, technology, design and the people who make up the human capital of the great Princess team.

All the details have been thought out and designed for a booming segment that is looking for exclusive hotels with a warm atmosphere, differentiated services and a revolutionary concept for a hotel of this category.

The hotel’s own structure and the insertion of modern elements have created a perfect symbiosis for delight and comfort. The new facilities have 266 rooms; two restaurants; four bars; SPA, with relaxation area and massage cabins; gym with views of the pool, and three levels of solarium, one of which is exclusively for clients with reservations in a superior type, called the Essence service.

The investment in digital and audiovisual systems has meant a before and after in this transformation, with music, shows and interaction with guests being the center of leisure activities.
