Units of the Consortium of Firemen from Tenerife have intervened in the early hours of this past Tuesday to Wednesday in a fire declared in a wood installationin Tenerife. Specifically, the event took place in the town of Aronaon the roof of an abandoned bar in Ten Bel, behind the Hotel Alborada.
The flames have been extinguished and controlled, while firefighters have continued to work on the scene to prevent new sources from emerging. Personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service went to the place in a preventive manner, although no injuries were reported in the end. The Arona Local Police also intervened in the event.
The spectacular fire caused a big column of smoke, which was recorded by residents in the area. According to this same source, the flames were put out half an hour after the fire started.
