VALVERDE (THE IRON), 1 Jan. (EUROPA PRESS) –
A Maritime Rescue vessel has rescued a canoe with eight migrants on board this Sunday afternoon, which has been transferred to the La Restinga pier, in the municipality of El Pinar, reports from 112 Canarias.
The migrants, after disembarking at the port, have been treated by members of the Canary Islands Emergency Service and the Red Cross, who have not ordered referrals to health centers as they are in good general condition.
This is the fourth boat that has arrived this Sunday, New Year’s Day, on the coasts of the islands, since there were two located in the waters of Lanzarote, with 81 migrants on board, and a cayuco, with eight people, which arrived at the coast of Granadilla, in Tenerife.
