A total of three people have been injured to varying degrees after four vehicles collided on the TF-1 road, heading south, passing through Tenerife South Airport, in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona, as reported by the Coordination Centre of Emergencies and Safety of the 112 of the Canaries.
The incident occurred around 8:31 am when the Canary Islands 112 service was alerted that an accident involving four vehicles had occurred at the location, with two of them having overturned.
Firefighters from the Tenerife Consortium then arrived at the scene, secured the vehicles, and freed two of the injured who were trapped inside.
Transfer to Southern Hospital
Additionally, personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) who arrived at the scene attended to a 39-year-old man who initially had moderate chest pain.
They also assisted two women, aged 39 and 26, who initially had mild neck pain. All three injured parties were transferred to the Southern Hospital.
At the scene of the incident, personnel from the Insular Road Centre arrived to clean the road, while officers from the Civil Guard carried out the necessary procedures and regulated traffic in the area.
