Members of the Tenerife Fire Consortium have managed to control the fire declared around 4:00 p.m. this Sunday in the Arico environmental complex.
As reported by the Cabildo, the fire originated outside the warehouse of a company (Ewaste) that recycles household appliances and electronic devices.
A total of 50 square meters of plastic and pallets burned, hence the large column of black smoke that was generated.
Members of the San Miguel park, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and volunteers from Adeje have worked in control and liquidation tasks.
