SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 28 Oct. (EUROPE PRESS) –
Hotels School of the Canary Islands (Hecansa), a company attached to the Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce of the Government of the Canary Islands, has been awarded this Friday for its training work in the sixteenth edition of the ‘National Hospitality Awards’ granted by the Organization of Hospitality of Spain.
The general director of Tourism Planning and Promotion and CEO of Hecansa, Ciprián Rivas, has been in charge of receiving this distinction that highlights the contribution of the Canary Islands School Hotels to the training and professionalization of the hospitality sector and its professionals.
Rivas stressed that Hecansa has been working in training for more than 30 years “and it does so with the same enthusiasm as the first day and it is none other than to provide students with knowledge and a scientific base as well as technology to carry out their work.”
As part of its commitment to promote and support the tourism and hospitality industry, Escuela de Canarias Hotels has the following training programs in its professional offer: Food and Beverage Management (face-to-face and online), Hotel Management, Kitchen and Gastronomy Management.
In addition, it offers a wide range of Specialization and Digitization courses, collects a note from the entity.
The Spanish Hospitality Organization annually recognizes companies and institutions that have stood out in aspects such as training, innovation, sustainability or social responsibility.
