SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct 21 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 56-year-old man has been moderately injured after suffering a fall in the Guaría ravine, in Guía de Isora (Tenerife), as reported by the 112 Emergency and Security Coordination Center of the Canary Islands.
The events took place around 11:32 am this Thursday and members of the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium moved to the place, accessing the affected person, immobilizing him and securing the area where he was.
Subsequently, a doctor from the health center in the area and a nurse from the ambulance of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) verified that the affected person had moderate lower limb trauma, except for complications, by the rescuers of the GES helicopter they took down of the aircraft and, together with the rest of the emergency resources, they proceeded to rescue and hoist the injured person to evacuate him to the Tenerife North Airport, and from there to the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital.
At the scene of the incident, members of the Rural Guard, Local Police and Civil Guard also participated in the rescue device deployed in the area.
