A worker dies after falling from a scaffolding in El Rosario (Tenerife)

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 25 Oct. (EUROPE PRESS) –

A 52-year-old man died this Tuesday after falling from a scaffold while working in El Rosario.

The events occurred after 1:30 p.m. when the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert informing that a man needed medical assistance after falling from a scaffolding in which he was working on Cortés street.

A nurse coordinator from the SUC, present in the operating room, after carrying out the interrogation corresponding to the alerter, confirmed that the affected person was in cardiorespiratory arrest and gave instructions through telecare to begin resuscitation maneuvers until the arrival of health resources. .

The SUC personnel who arrived at the scene confirmed that the affected person remained in cardiorespiratory arrest and continued to perform advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers without success, confirming his death.

The Local Police collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources and the Civil Guard instructs the corresponding proceedings.
