The House of Culture of The Realejos last Friday welcomed the closing of the municipal program Los Realejos por la Solidaridad, in which the solidarity Añepas were recovered, which were given years ago to entities and groups for the importance of their social work and that this year, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of the initiative, fell on 18 key entities or social agents in the pandemic.
The first deputy mayor, Adolfo González, and José David Cabrera, councilor for Youth, organizing area of the event, presented the awards to representatives of the Military Emergency Unit (UME), Civil Guard of Puerto de la Cruz and La Orotava, the National Police from the Puerto de la Cruz-Los Realejos Police Station, Los Realejos Local Police, Firefighters Consortium, Volunteer Firefighters of Los Realejos, municipal Civil Protection, Los Realejos health center, the official schools of Pharmacists, Psychology and Social Workers of Tenerife, the street cleaning staff, the Los Realejos Merchants Association (Acore), Association Cruz Santa Comercial, Cáritas, Food Bank, Lions Club and Red Cross.
