A man and a 7-year-old girl were injured to varying degrees after being run over on Ángel Romero Avenue, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The events took place on Wednesday night, around 9:24 p.m., when a call alerted the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES 1-1-2) of the Government of the Canary Islands about this event. The necessary emergency resources were immediately activated.
Health personnel from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) attended the scene with a medicalized ambulance and another basic life support. The professionals performed the health care of both wounded and transferred them to the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria. The man presented a moderate head injury at the initial moment of assistance, while the minor presented mild polycontusions.
The Local Police was also present, who instructed the corresponding proceedings.
