Almost a thousand students start this Wednesday the July EBAU at the University of La Laguna



The University of La Laguna (ULL) informs that a total of 948 students have enrolled in the extraordinary call for July of the EBAU (Bachelor’s Degree Assessment for University Access) that will begin this Wednesday and will run until Friday.

Of this amount, 754 male and female students have enrolled in the general phase, while 194 more have done so in the specific phase, that is, the one destined only to improve qualifications.

Taking into account the general phase and broken down by islands, 692 belong to Tenerife, and of these, 32 will take the Arts modality, 389 Sciences, 192 Humanities and Social Sciences (Social Sciences itinerary) and the remaining 79 will choose from this last modality the itinerary of Humanities.

All those registered on this island will be examined at the Guajara university campus, while the others will do so on their respective islands.

Thus, in La Palma there will be 48 students who access the test, of which only one has enrolled in Arts, 20 in Sciences, another 20 in the aforementioned Social Sciences itinerary and 7 in Humanities.

For its part, in La Gomera the total number of students enrolled rises to 9, of which 6 will carry out the Social Sciences itinerary and 3 will do Sciences. In El Hierro the number of registered in this July call is 5, of which two are for Sciences and 3 for Social Sciences Itinerary.

In the specific modality, that is, the one that those who present themselves to raise their grade take, there are 179 in Tenerife, 13 in La Palma, one in La Gomera and one in El Hierro, the ULL details in a note.

The first session of the exams will be held this Wednesday with the general presentation to the test, scheduled at 09:00 on the Guajara campus.

Half an hour later, the first exam, Spanish Language and Literature II, will begin, which will be followed, at 12:00, by the first Foreign Language II (English, French, Italian or German).

The online consultation of the qualifications of this call will open on July 15 from 12:00 p.m., after which a claims process will be arbitrated from July 18 to 20, in such a way that the publication and delivery of definitive qualifications would take place on July 22.
