The young representative of the Geranios-San Miguel neighborhood association, Andrea Oliva Salcedo, who wore a suit by the designer Alfonso Baute, was chosen on Saturday Queen of the Patron Saint Festivities of La Orotava which are celebrated in honor of Corpus Christi, San Isidro Labrador and Santa María de la Cabeza.

The title of first lady of honor went to Gisela Abrante González, representative of the Achinech-La Luz neighborhood association and who wore a design by Jesús Hernández, while the second Lady is Mareiza Díaz Silvero, representing the San Jerónimo-La Luz neighborhood association. Higa from La Perdoma, and with a design by Alexis Santana. Nerea García Oliver and Ainhoa Rodríguez Farrais, from the Risco de la Cruz-Cañeño and Cruz Verde-La Piedad-Santa Catalina neighborhood associations, both designed by Jesús Hernández, received the titles of third and fourth maid of honor.

The gala, directed by the artistic director David Hernández, was presented by Patricia Hernández and Daniel Montesdeoca. More than a thousand people attended the event, which was also attended by the last Queen of the festivities, of the year 2019, Yaritza González Farrais; the mayor, Francisco Linares, the mayor of Fiestas, Alexis Pacheco, and other members of the Municipal Corporation. Magek Festival
One of the most anticipated acts of the Patron Saint Festivities is the Magec Festival. Like every year, the Magec Folkloric-Cultural Association celebrates the festival that bears its name and which this year celebrates its twentieth edition. The event, with free admission, will take place on Friday, June 17, at 9:00 p.m., in the Teobaldo Power Auditorium.
The Magec group will take a tour of the repertoire that has accompanied the group during these two decades. In addition, this festival will have the collaboration of the Acatife Cultural Association, from the municipality of Teguise (Lanzarote).
Magec presented its latest novelty last Canary Islands Day with the publication on social networks of Al Atlántico, composed musically by its director, Juan Pablo Pérez, and lyrics by Pepe León, a member of the group, in addition to the collaboration of great artists from the Canary Islands.
