SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 30 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
A 16-year-old minor died yesterday Friday after falling into the Santos ravine, at the height of Pedro Bernardo Forstall street, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The event occurred around 6:50 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert informing that a young man had fallen down the slope of the Santos ravine, falling from several meters high for reasons that are unknown.
Members of the Firefighters Consortium and local police officers located the place where the minor had fallen and informed the Coordinating Center of the seriousness of the injuries he presented.
Next, the medical team of an SUC ambulance accessed the affected person and could only confirm his death due to injuries incompatible with life. Police officers are in charge of the corresponding proceedings and the investigation of what happened.
The Canary Emergency Service also activated the Group of Psychological Intervention in Emergencies and Catastrophes of the Official College of Psychology of Santa Cruz de Tenerife for the care of relatives of the young man who traveled to the scene of the incident.
