SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, March 3. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Government Council of the Canary Islands authorized at its meeting this Thursday to increase the budgetary credit of the Canary Health Service by 100,000 euros to promote in the year 2022 the implementation project in the mobile and air resources of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC ) of the digital care part, as a computer system for recording information on health incidents.
During 2021, the SUC began contracting, for an amount of 200,000 euros, this specific application for health resources, which will be integrated with the management tool used from the 1-1-2 Coordination Room.
In a first phase, the installation of the equipment in the medicalized and sanitized ambulances and in the air resources, which constitute about 30 units, has begun.
With the expansion of the SCS budget credit approved this Thursday of 100,000 euros and another 200,000 euros approved in an amendment to the budgets for this year, the digital care part will be able to extend its implementation this year in basic life support ambulances.
The deployment of a tool throughout the mobile fleet of resources linked to emergency medical transport will allow the automatic incorporation of the information obtained from the different electromedicine devices and the attendance record.
In this way, all the information is digitally recorded, facilitating its study, access and consultation if necessary, with the possibility of issuing the information collected in the digital assistance part in real time in the event of a vital emergency.
This application will cover the needs for documentation, information, notification and storage of health information recorded during urgent/emergency incidents, coordinated and managed by the SUC from both Coordination rooms (CECOES 1-1-2), in order to optimize and improve the quality of the service provided to citizens.
