The tram will be in service on New Year’s Eve until 02:00 in the morning. The insular councilor of Mobility and president of Metrotenerife, Enrique Arriaga, explains that this modification of the night service responds to the new sanitary measures established in level 3.
During the day, frequencies of 6 and 10 minutes will be offered. Starting at 11:00 p.m., the Guimerá Theater stop will be the end of the service in Santa Cruz and the Fundación and Intercambiador stations will not be operational.
At two in the morning the last trams will leave from Teatro Guimerá, in Santa Cruz, and Trinidad, in La Laguna, to cover the final routes of this day.
On Friday 31, Line 1 will provide service every 6 minutes until 3:00 p.m. and from noon with step intervals of 7.5 and 10 minutes. From 9:00 p.m. onwards, Line 1 will maintain frequencies of 15 and 20 minutes. Line 2 will have 12 and 20 minute passing intervals in the central hours to end its service at midnight as usual.
