CEOE opens an office in La Orotava to advise entrepreneurs

The employers’ association of Tenerife –Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE) – open office in La Orotava to advise entrepreneurs. The Orotavian City Council gave CEOE-Tenerife the space in which to advise people who want to launch a business project in the northern area of the Island. This information point will be available in an office of the Casa de la Juventud (León street, 9) and will work on Fridays, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This Friday the collaboration agreement was signed, signed between the CEOE CEO, Eduardo Bezares, and the mayor, Francisco Linares.

It is a free advice service for self-employment and entrepreneurship open to citizens. It will cover from the development of the idea and vision of the business to the different plans necessary to create companies. Interested persons can request an appointment by calling 922 32 44 44 (extensions 2502, 2503 or 2504), by e-mail at formacion@villadelaorotava.org or by going to the office itself. It will offer advice to citizens who are interested in issues related to the entrepreneurship, self-employment and access to microcredits. Actions to develop the business idea and vision will be carried out; self-employment, legal forms, business models and opportunities, collective entrepreneurship and social economy; information and support for the processing of grants, aid and financing; realization and tutoring of the business plan and financial economic viability; establishment and telematic processing of companies; advice on incentives and measures to promote hiring and a business activity support program, among other things.

On the other hand, training actions will also be carried out for the creation of companies. Courses will be given on entrepreneurship motivation, data protection, legal security, marketing, social networks, taxation, project presentation and job orientation.

Mayor, Francisco Linares, stressed the “importance” of having training to enter the world of work, “and more after the latest crises.” “For this reason, support for entrepreneurship is one of the areas to which we give the highest priority,” he added. “In addition, we are at dates in which we must join efforts, the civil party, companies and public administrations, to obtain better and productive results.” The Councilor for Training and Employment, Deisy Ramos, invites citizens to take advantage of this resource with various tools of interest to entrepreneurs. The general manager, Eduardo Bazares, applauded the opening of this new office in La Orotava and that “it will be very good for the residents of the northern slope.”
