SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Sep 21 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Deputy of the Common, Rafael Yanes, has valued the “great work” carried out by the Cabildo de La Palma and the municipalities of El Paso, Los Llanos and Tazacorte, as well as by the bodies and State security forces, in the “difficult times” that the island is going through, where the Diputación del Común has its official headquarters.
Rafael Yanes has contacted the palm authorities to put the Institution at their disposal to, within its powers, collaborate in the protection of the people affected by the volcanic eruption of La Palma.
Yanes has also spoken with the Ombudsman of Spain, Francisco Fernández Marugán, to coordinate actions aimed at guaranteeing the rights of the affected people, especially in relation to housing with State aid, following what was stated by the President of the Government, Pedro Sanchez, on his visit to the island.
