The public company Gestur will draw up the mobility plan for the La Estación area, urban and commercial center of Tacoronte, within the framework of the development that is projected for this area. It must be available in six months and its cost is 30,000 euros. It is a “vital” document for guarantee an alternative to traffic that runs along the main road and improves conditions for traffic and pedestrians, in addition to solving the problem of parking, among other issues. This is assured by the Councilor for Urbanism, Tarsis Morales, for whom “it is essential to improve the area a lot, something that is possible with an urban transformation.”
The first deputy mayor also highlights that the Mobility Plan must include new road layouts, the completion of several roads that are currently unfinished, the relocation of infrastructures, such as the bus station – adapting its accesses through roundabouts – and new access roads. from the TF-5, the general highway and the highway to Tejina.
Morales states that the specific modification of the General Management Plan (PGO) for the areas Casco Urbano-Zone Station action 1, and the Unit of Action 21-Camacho.
